‘Songs of the Ancient Earth’ is a phrase which resonates deeply with me.
I felt its call earlier this year, and decided to call my summer exhibitions ‘Songs of the Ancient Earth’, and also to create new work under that title.
Upon reflection, I also realised that it feels like a thread that has been running through my work for a while.
I hope you will find songs within the paintings, and that perhaps they can help you remember some of your own ancient wisdom.

‘Chants de la Terre Ancestrale’ est une expression qui résonne profondément en moi.
J’ai senti son appel depuis le debut de l’année, et ai décidé d’appeler mes expositions d’été ‘Chants de la Terre Ancestrale’, et de créer de nouvelles œuvres avec ce titre.
Après ce réflexion, j’ai réalisé que c’est comme un fil qui a accompagné mon travail depuis quelque temps.
J’espère que vous trouverez les chants entre les œuvres, et peut-être qu’ils vous évoqueront votre sagesse ancestrale.
